Rowan Fitzpatrick is a freelance scenic designer and artist based in NY. They recently moved to upstate New York and are currently the Assistant Scenic Charge at the Glimmerglass Opera.
Previously, they were based in Brooklyn and worked as the Scenic Charge for Playwrights Horizons and Queens College. They freelanced in the city as a scenic artist and designer. As a designer, Jess combines their background in theatrical design, studio arts, and English literature to create visual stories on stage. They designed ResWorks' production of Rigoletto and designed six shows during their time in college. They are also a freelance muralist and studio artist and pride themselves on having some pretty neat paint overalls and floral suits.
